New gambling domains in numbers
Between November 4, 2026 and November 8, 2026, our daily scan checked the page behind newly registered domain names and confirmed 474 as gambling sites. 88% of the names contain a digit and 86% contain none of the common gambling words, so a rule-based blocker cannot recognise them by name.

In short: Between November 4, 2026 and November 8, 2026, our daily scan checked the page behind newly registered domain names and confirmed 474 as gambling sites. 88% of the names contain a digit and 86% contain none of the common gambling words, so a rule-based blocker cannot recognise them by name.

What the names look like
- Digits: 417 of 474 names (88%) have at least one digit in the first label. When a gambling site is blocked, operators change the number and open a new name, so "bet777" is followed by "bet778".
- Words: 408 of 474 names (86%) contain none of these words: bet, casino, slot, win, vip, toto, judi, game, jackpot, bahis, poker, lotto, lottery, bola, togel. Most of the sites do not look like gambling from the name alone, while the page behind them is.
Method
- Source: the free daily list of domains registered the day before (generic extensions only; country extensions are out of scope). No user data is touched.
- Selecting suspects: names that start with the core of a known gambling brand, and families of three or more names that share a root and differ by number.
- Verification: the suspect's home page is opened. It counts as gambling if its title and visible text contain two separate strong gambling terms, or if it redirects to an address that is already blocked. Help and addiction pages are never counted as gambling, and sites that only show a verification screen are not counted.
- Record: a verified name is added to the list as a full name. The numbers on this page are recomputed from that list and its history each time the site is built.
What these numbers do not measure
This is not the number of new gambling sites in the world. It is the lower bound that our scan found and verified. Country-code domains are not scanned, only names that pass the suspect selection are opened, and there is a daily cap. Which country a site targets is not recorded, so no country breakdown is given. The results are not a sample, so no general rate such as "X% of new domains are gambling" can be drawn from them.
Our built-in worldwide list holds roughly 306,018 domain names on top of which the discovery list is added.

Frequently asked
How many new gambling sites appear each week?
We do not know the exact worldwide number. Our daily scan confirmed 474 newly registered gambling domains between November 4, 2026 and November 8, 2026; that is the lower bound the scan could find.
Why do gambling sites keep changing the number in the name?
Opening the same page under a new name is cheap once a name is blocked. 88% of the domains we verified contain a digit, which points to number-incrementing mirrors being common.
Where do these numbers come from?
From the domains the repository's daily discovery scan verified, and from the history of that list. The method is written on this page; the domain names are not published.
